“Study smart, not by guesswork”

1. An AI tutor that knows the student

   The Mulaqn assistant builds every conversation on the student’s own level: their score in each section, their strongest and weakest lessons, what they have not been tested on yet, and today’s schedule. It writes its answer live, sets the student multiple-choice questions and explains their choice. Each lesson also has a side expert that answers from the lesson itself.

2. Tests that simulate the real exam

   A quick test, a medium test that diagnoses the level, a test of the student’s own mistakes, and a full simulation split into sections of 24 questions with 25 minutes each. Questions start with the weakest lessons and those not yet tested, and a student resumes a test where they left it.

3. Level analysis

   A performance engine measures mastery of every lesson and section on five levels from Beginner to Expert, judges no lesson before at least five answers in it, and explains inside the app how the level was calculated.

4. A smart study plan

   A weekly plan built from the student’s exam date, rest days and the number of lessons they want a day. Each item is confirmed with a check question, and the platform reviews the plan every night on Riyadh time.

5. “Test with a friend”

   A live match between two students by session code, from 10 to 100 questions, with answers revealed to both at the same moment over a real-time connection.

6. The iPhone app

   Five tabs for tracks and lessons, saved questions, help and profile, with points, day streaks, achievements and badges. During a test, a Live Activity on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island shows the question number and the time left. The platform’s mascot, Hodlog, an owl animated with Rive, walks the student through sign-up.

7. Student website and public pages

   The website gives students what the app does, plus public pages that bring them in from search: articles, track pages and free aptitude mock tests with no sign-up, with a sitemap and instant search-engine notification.

8. Teachers’ dashboard

   Teachers add lessons, their sections and questions, and questions stay drafts until they pass review. Questions get figures and charts drawn by the platform, and recorded audio for listening.

9. Management dashboard

   Indicators for students, subscriptions and revenue; management of tracks, lessons and questions; support; a notification and announcement centre; AI usage monitoring; and the search-optimisation pages.

10. Subscriptions and payment

    A subscription per track, paid on the website through Moyasar with mada and credit cards, and in the app as an App Store purchase, with a seven-day free trial with daily limits and downloadable receipts.

11. Foundation and launch

    We started from nothing: commercial registration and licences, the privacy policy and terms of use, the mulaqn.sa domain, official email and the servers. We then put the platform through automated testing before launch, and handed it over half a month before the agreed deadline.
